Hot tub
A wonderful way to watch the stars at night or warm up during the day during the chiller months, our 5 person hot tub also offers chromotherapy, or color therapy. Chromotherapy encompasses a field of research based on the use of colored light to promote health. Ancient cultures from the Egyptians to the Greeks have studied the health effects of light and color. Since the 19th century, research into chromotherapy has been conducted in the United States, Russia, India and beyond. Researchers theorize that, among other properties, color has a noticeable effect on mood.
Game Room
Inspired some of John's favorite childhood memories, the game room is a place to bond, play and have fun. We have so many games! From Karaoke, dj booth, foosball, shuffle board, basketball, golf + more, you have to check out all the offerings. We also have space-themed black light tapestiers + black lights for a cool lounge experience. There are two small futons! The games can easily be moved for a large indoor open space for other activities.It is a separate building from the house and equipped with heat + AC. The game room is perfect place to feel like a kid again.
Om Dome
Situated at the very end of the property, next to the Happiness Dome, this "dreamy" dome is designed to help you rest well. Decorated with dream catchers and books on dreams, with a hanging chair to gaze out the window, and sitting area in front of the window, it is the perfect place to contemplate your hopes and dreams. This dome is off grid with battery operated lights + a propane heat.
Desert Zen Garden
Nestled underneath a eucalyptus tree in the middle of the desert, perfect for sitting, observing nature and meditating, calm your mind and spirit in one of our three zen gardens: there are three different size zen gardens situated within each other. Our small, medium or large gardens have rocks for stacking, buddha(s) for decorating and rakes for raking the desert sand. It is believed as you rake the sand and organize the garden to be orderly you are doing the same for your mind. Clear debris and organize which ever size garden you wish paying attention to details and being grounded in the moment. The chime played by the desert winds will help you find peace of mind.
Labyrinth
Made from crystals and rocks found on the property, enter the path moving to your left or right, choose the direction you want to take. Move step by step in this walking meditation. When you reach the center take a moment to pause and breathe. Then turn around and walk back out of the labyrinth choosing whichever direction you wish. There is a “long” way and “short” way to take on this meditation path. The entire walk is a form of meditation that is symbolic of life: no matter which way you go, you will get there. The path asks you to be present and enjoy each step as opposed to running to the center and then out. Can you watch your feet? What do you notice? You can set an intention before starting your journey and leave an offering (literal like a rock, feather, gift, etc or intentional in your head) at the center. You will surely learn something on your walk).
Hope + Peace Poles
This is a very special part of the property which is designed to help spread peace and hope in the world. You will be given a string to tie a hope to for it to be charged by the power of the desert.
Affirmation Path
Build positive affirmation mantras with our rocks and words. Make different sentences and set them up in a path, and then walk slowly as you read them. Leave the path for others to read. Read and walk the path created by others before. Add your own words with the rocks around the property.
Foot Reflexology Path
Walk our foot refloexogy path with bare feet! Massage your feet along the rocks and feel relief in this ancient science of healing!
Yoga Pavilion
Our outdoor yoga pavilion is a perfect shade structure to do yoga, meditate, or just hang out protected from the sun while enjoying the beauty of desert + nature.
Outdoor Movie Screen
Perfect to stream music videos or your favorite movie, enjoy this outdoor screen for a movie in the desert’s outdoor cinema. Simply Connect to WIFI and plug your phone. ET anyone?

Dog Wash
We love animals and travel often with ours. We know sometimes it can be challenging to travel with pets as not every place is pet friendly so we wanted to create a space where pets were as welcome as humans. The desert gets dusty! This is a personal dog washing station to keep your buddy clean. Use our dog soap and shampoo or bring your own and wash down your dog in our bath to bring him or her home nice and clean!

Enjoy our outdoor relaxation areas including outdoor refrigerator, grill and griddle, hammock, hanging chairs, and other seating areas. Connect with others, sit by the firepit, get warm, and sharing happy memories together. Note: the firepit is propane and not for cooking.
